is EVIL. And completely awesome, of course. The Very
Secret Diary is definitely one of the best fics I’ve read in A LONG
time. It’s been interesting to read some of the reviews– people saying
that now they understand CoS, and that TVSD has added all new
meaning to it. . .sheesh, people, were you even reading the book? It’s
all in there– the whole thing. Arabella was just giving a voice to
what was already in the book. There’s a lot more depth in that story
than people are giving credit for. Plus, I think there are many, many
things that happened in that book which can foreshadow future events–
things that were never really resolved.

Anyway, I went and bought the CoS soundtrack today (I ended up with the
Dumbledore cover– I meant to get Harry, but by the time I realized I
had the wrong cover, I had already opened it. Oh, well). I’ve
listened to it twice now. Well, I need SOMETHING to get me through
until Friday, now, don’t I?
I must say that I’m in love with the Fawkes theme. And the music for in
the Chamber is wonderful and creepy. Perfect for reading the climax of
TVSD to.
