Bit of Ivory

Actually, the work I’m doing for the workshop today has, thus far, been mostly on my own and at my desk, so is not so bad. But that will probably change as soon as my boss gets done training the OTHER workshop that started meeting today.

In any case, it didn’t take as long to get done yesterday as we were afraid it would. I left around 5:30, having got here at 7. With the time change, it felt like getting up two hours early. I was exhausted by the time I got home. My mom went out of town this week (she’s going to Nauvoo, Illinois with her folks), and neither my dad nor I felt like cooking. We got a hamburger at Hires instead.

In other news, my aunt Kim had a baby yesterday– Matthew Jack Bytheway. Can’t wait to meet him. That family always has cute babies. This makes two of each for them– Girl, boy, girl, boy.
