Hee.

I hope you all liked my little April Fool’s joke yesterday. I tried to make it as believeable as possible. I mean, I knew that if I suddenly went “H/H 4 EVA!!!1!11one” none of you would even blink. :P But Wormtongue– hee. Very fun. I assure you all that I do *not* find Wormtongue attractive, and that I was really quite delighted that my TTT calendar featured Legolas yesterday. Just so you don’t wonder about my sanity.

I got a new computer at work– hooray for not having to use an old laptop connected to a ghetto monitor anymore– and it’s nice. :D It has a headphone jack on the front, so I don’t have to bring my discman to listen to stuff anymore. When the IT people brought it I was on the phone trying to work out a deal with PRAXIS to get a copy of one of their test datasheets, so they just left it and said they’d come back in 10 minutes. They didn’t, so I set it up myself. When it started up it logged in as an administrator, so when I created a user account for myself I made myself an administrator too. So now I don’t have to get an IT guy to come over everytime I need to install something– like Acrobat Reader, for example. And I can install other stuff too. like Mozilla Firefox and Semagic. I have not yet worked up to downloading Y!M, but I’m sure it’s on the horizon. I don’t want to become completely unprodcutive, though. :P

Speaking of being unproductive, I should get BAX to work. :P

Yay for Firefox converts, and no more bothering IT guys with mundane stuff (mine always complain about walking half a mile in the heat just to replace a toner cartridge…)

I use the full Mozilla build at home, because I like the e-mail application, but at work all I really need is the browser. So I decided Firefox was the way to go.

    It’s really fast! I adore Mozilla. :D

I’m just now learning how to use the inter-net and I don’t know what URL means. I found your website while scoping out about the latter-day P&P. I’m probably old enough to be your mother but do love LOTR and Jane Autsen anything. (I read her biographies for fun). Discovered alot of Jane Austen websites but decided I’m not quite that obsessed…but pretty close. You would probably enjoy Sick and Wicked website. She has several of the same obsessions. Since you work for DB maybe you can tell me when P&P is coming out on DVD? I need to start saving my pennies. I haven’t really liked LDS movies but this one is good and will go up on the shelf with all the other Austen DVDs.
