Early to rise and early to bed makes a man healthy, but socially dead (Yakko, “The Wheel of Morality,” Animaniacs). And I’m not sure about the healthy part. I’m dead tired. At least there’s the fact that my Fridays and Saturday nights are completely free, which I could never say before.
My second day was completely different from my first day, work-wise. The people are still really nice, but I was with an entirely different department today. You see, I’m working with one department in the morning, but another one in the afternoon. Well, my afternoon boss was not here yesterday, so I trained all day at my morning job yesterday and all day at my afternoon job today. My morning job is the front desk, general customer service stuff for the whole division. My afternoon job is in pre-litigation, one very small part of the division. Very different types of work. Tomorrow I’ll be starting my switch-off, which in some ways is good because it’ll be harder to get bored when I’m only doing one thing for 4 hours a day.
I’ve got my own cubicle when I’m in prelit, so I get to decorate it. Whoo!
Have not seen Shirtless!Orlando yet. Plan on going to Best Buy after I finish blogging.
It’s very strange for me to see everyone talking about going BAX to school and not have any stories of my own to share. Very strange.
Okay. Going to Best Buy now.

Give yourself a month and really do try to make an effort to go to bed at a reasonable hour on the weekdays and you will adjust to the new schedule fairly quickly {G}. The best shift at any job I ever worked was 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. That meant I had to be up at 4:00 am (because of where I lived at the time), but it was GREAT to have those afternoons free and able to make plans for movies and such. The job sounds interesting!
