I’ll be working at the counter on the first floor in the mornings– working the switchboard, counting and logging payments, opening and sorting mail, etc. In the afternoon, I’ll be up on the 4th floor, calling doctors to verify that they’ll be at their malpractice hearings, helping with filing and shredding, and other clerical stuff. Not extremely exciting, but it pays well: $9.48 an hour. And they’ll pay for my light rail pass as well. It’s partially a temporary position, so I don’t know how long it will last, and no benefits, but it’s a great foot in the door.

I’m exhausted, though. Ed Week really takes it out of you.
