I was repairing Emily's Ginny machine up until 10 minutes before I checked into the local hospital for surgery. It then had to wait for approximately 8 days before I had recovered sufficiently to do the final testing and disk recovery. So that is why the delay.

While I don't know how long it will take to have the warranty repair on the motherboard, I have been told the company is quick and it should only be a few days.

In the meantime, I feel that Emily is getting a very good 'reset' of her internet priorities and finding there is more to life that sitting in front of the TV typing on Ginny all day. (Only a father could say such a thing, and of course it is quite predictable that a father would say such a thing!)

So everyone just hold on, and we'll all see Ginny back and sound again very soon.
