I know it's all about networking-- and I do have a few connections that way. I plan on bugging a few people, calling in some favors. But just because I have connections doesn't mean that those connections will go anywhere. I can call up my friend in the Church editing department all I want-- if there are no jobs availiable there, it's not going to do any good.

I'm taking this approach to job-hunting: Pray as if everything depended on God, and work as if everything depended on you.

So the prayers are still much appreciated. :)

Honey, I've found in the job market that the statement "It's not what you know, but whom you know," really does come into play. If praying doesn't work, though Jesus is a wonderful man to know, kiss up to your father. Sounds like he might have some friends in places that could use you. Or...there is the prof. whoes book you edited. Get word to him you are looking for more work. That could very eazily lead to more from both him and collegues.

auhhhhh..AP 15....she must love me to beta over writing IFL.
