I chipped my big front teeth when I was 12. That was 18 years ago. During the course of my life I had different treatments to make them look better, but eventually, the teeth were so weak that they came out.

I’ve now learnt about how to grow back new teeth and I’m hoping to do that within the next couple of years.

I’ve got one front tooth that’s capped thanks to an unfortunate encounter with a frisbee, and that was quite a pain. It doesn’t look perfect, but my teeth are screwy enough anyway that no one notices. I had an extra canine-type tooth come in somewhere in the front of my mouth when I was little, and ever since then I’ve had huge gaps. I’ve considered orthodontics, but since my teeth work well enough and aren’t hideous, I didn’t want to go through the discomfort. I’d likely have to pay for most of it myself, too. Your story is making me consider it again, though, so next time I make it to the dentist I’ll probably ask his opinion.
