They are scanned by the computer in an X-Y matrix. So everything is a vertical row, containing 8, i, k, , is on the same wire.

There is a place in SLC that rebuilds battery packs, by using the original case, and replacing the cells inside. They might be able to do this for a lot less than $125.

Since the battery won’t hold a charge at all, Ginny is useless to me without an outlet, keyboard or no keyboard. I’ll be coming home this weekend, if you have time to look at her. I’ve tried the canned air thing and have even taken the keys off and cleaned them with rubbing alcohol, but to no avail.
