Also, there is no such thing as "Israeli dance".
Teri, *you* know that red and pink and white are monochromatic, and probably Elizabeth does too, but to the untrained eye, red and pink and white are 3 different colors, not three tints or shades of the same one. :)

That's not "strange". Of course it is monochromatic. Let's say the color is red. :) In art, when one is mixing paint to make a monochromatic piece, one mixes the red with white to make tints (pinks), and with black to make shades (dark crimson reds). This seems obvious, but what most people don't realise, then, is that the lightest tint of any givemn color is white, and the darkest shade is black. Therefore, a color scheme with reds, pinks, and white is a monchromatic scheme.

OK. That's the art lesson of the day. ;)

I'll post pictures when there's something more worthy of posting. This exercise was just learning how to wrap cut flowers, and picking the colors & such that would make a good arrangement (mine is pinks, reds, and whites, which, strangely, is actually a monochromatic color scheme). Next week, though, we're doing bud vases and gift baskets, and we're supposed to bring 3 or four themed items for our baskets. I'm planning on doing Harry Potter, of course. :) I definitely try and score some pics.

I know Wolf probably doesn't dance, but I thought it would be a fun mental image for us all. :)
